All new

We moved, we're here in New Orleans. Who would have though. It's been 5 months. We really like it, but of course its been a change compared to our quiet lifestyle in Istanbul. One new surprise is a new member of our family, our baby girl Zehra, who was born on Friday the 25th of May. She is now our little louisianan. Eyub, elhamdulilah, has really been so interested and sweet to her. Most of the time he wants to sneak in our room and look or give her kisses. This is the hardest part about having another baby so far. It's not the taking care of her, more so the taking care of him watching her. Inshallah it will get better as time goes on and he'll get used to it. Now off to take a nap with my lovelys.

October 2011

Pic from Sept on our Northern Turkey trip

This month we received the good news that we got our waiver approved! Now just more waiting... for Eyub it's not a problem. Everyone here loves babies and kids. His Babaanne and Dede (grandma and grandpa) and their whole side of the family see Eyub quite often when we visit their hometown. I hope that the move will not take that family familiarity away.

The weather has changed quite a bit in Istanbul. We haven't been going out as much so that means less photos. I think we have updated the Youtube account a little bit.

Eyub is taking one nap a day now. It started about a month ago. It's nice because I know he is tired and really needs it instead of little light naps.

September 2011

Eyub was very excited to meet the Rabbits on our trip across the northern part of Turkey.

We stopped at Uzun Gol (Long River), which was so beautiful, in Trabzon. They had the best Kasar Pide (cheese pizza without sauce) ever. Even Eyub though so.

The trip turned out to be one of the best ever. I am so thankful that we were able to take the time to travel together with Eyub.
